Nuzzl Events Code of Conduct

Effective Date: December 20, 2025

The following code of conduct applies to all Nuzzl events and meetups

  • Dogs must remain on leash and under control of their owner at all times. If your dog is not comfortable around other dogs, crowds of people, or food please do not bring them. Well behaved friendly dogs are welcome, if your dog is not friendly it will not be allowed to remain at the event.
  • Attendees are always responsible for their own behavior and the behavior of their dog(s). Any dogs causing a disturbance or showing aggression will be asked to leave along with their owners. Any attendees causing a disturbance will be asked to leave.
  • We have a zero-tolerance policy for any hate, harassment, abuse, violence or disrespectful behavior at our events. All attendees are expected to treat others with respect at all times and conduct themselves in a civil manner.
  • Nuzzl team members and management of any venues for Nuzzl events have the right to refuse entry or service of any attendee regardless of ticket purchase.
  • The Nuzzl app and all Nuzzl events are for adults 18 years older. In some cases Nuzzl events will be restricted to age 21+ depending on the venue and format. This information can be found in the event description either on the website or in the app. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted at Nuzzl events. Always bring your I.D
  • All ticket sales are final, there are no refunds unless an event is cancelled by Nuzzl. In case of an event cancellation (for example due to weather) there may be a reschedule option. In case of a cancellation refunds will be issued to the original method of payment

This Code of Conduct applies to all Nuzzl events and meetups.

  1. Dog Behavior & Leash Requirements

Dogs must remain on leash and under the control of their owner at all times. If your dog is not comfortable around other dogs, crowds of people, or food, please do not bring them. Well-behaved, friendly dogs are welcome; if your dog is not friendly, it will not be allowed to remain at the event.

  1. Owner Responsibility

Attendees are responsible for their own behavior and the behavior of their dog(s). Any dogs causing a disturbance or showing aggression will be asked to leave along with their owners. Any attendees causing a disturbance will also be asked to leave.

  1. Zero-Tolerance Policy

We have a zero-tolerance policy for hate, harassment, abuse, violence, or disrespectful behavior. All attendees must treat others with respect and conduct themselves in a civil manner at all times.

  1. Right to Refuse Entry

Nuzzl team members and venue management have the right to refuse entry or service to any attendee, regardless of ticket purchase.

  1. Age Requirements

The Nuzzl app and all Nuzzl events are for adults 18 years or older. Some events may be restricted to age 21+ depending on the venue and format. This information will be listed in the event description. Children under 18 are not permitted at Nuzzl events. Please bring a valid I.D.

  1. Ticket Policy

All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds unless an event is cancelled by Nuzzl. In the case of cancellation (e.g., due to weather), the event may be rescheduled. Refunds for cancelled events will be issued to the original method of payment.

  1. Dog Health & Vaccination Requirements
  • Dogs must be up-to-date on required vaccinations.
  • Dogs must be free of contagious illnesses, fleas, or parasites.
  • Dogs in heat are not permitted.
  1. Dog Etiquette & Clean-Up
  • Owners must clean up after their dogs immediately.
  • Always ask before allowing dogs to greet or interact.
  • Excessive barking, lunging, or disruptive behavior may result in removal.
  1. Alcohol & Substance Use
  • Attendees must drink responsibly at events where alcohol is served.
  • Intoxicated attendees may be denied entry or asked to leave.
  • Illegal substances are prohibited.
  1. Photography, Filming & Consent
  • Nuzzl may take photos or videos at events for promotional use.
  • Attendees who prefer not to be photographed may notify a Nuzzl team member.
  • Attendees must obtain consent before photographing or filming other guests or their dogs.
  1. Personal Belongings

Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. Nuzzl is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

  1. Safety & Emergency Procedures
  • Follow all instructions from Nuzzl staff or venue staff during emergencies.
  • Report any safety concerns immediately to a Nuzzl team member.
  1. Assumption of Risk & Liability
  • By attending a Nuzzl event, attendees acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks, including interactions with dogs, outdoor environments, and other attendees.
  • Attendees accept full responsibility for any injuries or damages caused by themselves or their dog.
  • Nuzzl is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses that occur during events.
  1. No Solicitation or Unauthorized Promotion

Attendees may not promote businesses, services, or products without prior written approval from Nuzzl. This includes trainers, breeders, rescues, MLMs, or vendors.

  1. Event-Specific Rules

Some events may have additional rules depending on the venue, activity, or format. These will be listed in the event description and must be followed.

  1. Enforcement & Consequences
  • Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in removal from the event without refund.
  • Severe or repeated violations may result in suspension or removal from the Nuzzl app.
  • Decisions made by Nuzzl staff are final.
  1. Updates to This Code of Conduct

Nuzzl may update this Code of Conduct at any time. The most current version will apply to all events.
